Warranty Terms and Conditions
1. Usage Limitations:
- The equipment must be used for a maximum of 30 days from the rental date.
- No excessive or unprofessional modifications should have been made.
- There should be no indication of abnormal or abusive usage.
- The equipment should not have incurred any damage that was not pre-existing.
2. Exclusions:
- Vandalism, sabotage, and theft are not covered under this program.
3. Warranty Request Process:
- The request for a warranty claim must be initiated by the renter via email within 30 calendar days from the rental date.
- The equipment must be located on the renter’s property when requesting a warranty claim.
- The renter must not have transferred or sub-rented the equipment to a third party after the rental.
4. Inspection and Approval:
- Confirmation of the equipment’s eligibility for a warranty claim may take approximately 30 days. An inspection will be conducted and reviewed by our program administrator to validate the condition against the equipment details at the time of rental.
5. Refund and Return Process:
- Once the warranty claim is confirmed, the renter will receive notification, and a refund will be processed within 24 to 48 hours.
- Following the approval of a warranty claim, the equipment will remain on the renter’s premises until it is picked up by one of our agents (typically within approximately 7 days after the renter receives the refund). The renter is expected to cooperate with the return process, including granting inspection access, providing photographs, and facilitating equipment pickup.
- The renter must store the equipment safely and responsibly, in line with industry standards. Any damage or loss incurred after the approval of the warranty claim and until the equipment is picked up from the renter’s property is the renter’s responsibility.
6. Policy Limitations:
- Heavy Equipment Rentals of Texas reserves the right to impose limitations on the number of items for which any renter may request a warranty claim.
